Rakarrack Coil Crafter

(yep I only checked your reply in the other post because I am back with another suggestion )

I recently found out that Rakarrack has a nice little plugin called the Coil Crafter: http://rakarrack.sourceforge.net/effect ... oilCrafter

I have no real idea how it works, but putting it in front of Guitarix and just using the "undo pickup" portion is pretty awesome. I guess it kind of emulates a "ideal" signal transformer instead of the pickup.

Now running rakarrack for just one effect is a little overkill ... maybe you could consider "stealing" the code from them and putting it in a nice little Guitarix effect?

(There is a LV2 clone of all rakarrack plugins (https://github.com/ssj71/rkrlv2), but they are all in stereo which means I can't put them before the amp section in Guitarix )

Yes, it's a pity. I've requested mono versions of the LV2 rakarrack plugs 2 years ago,
https://github.com/ssj71/rkrlv2/issues/4

but it seems there is no progress any more on it.
Maybe you could remind ssj71 of this request?

Other then that, maybe I'll add a "load as mono" option to the LV2 loader, that could solve it for all rakarrack plugs at once, instead port them all over.

And done, you could select now in the Plugin loader window, under the details, "use mono Box", which will wrap a mono container around a stereo plugin, so you could load Coil Crafter before the Amp now.
