OSX package

Postby uncooper » Tue Dec 29, 2015 1:51 am

In Sourceforge, there is an OSX package which makes installing guitarix very easy. Unfortunately, it is a very old version (0.24-v6, which is from 2012 according to the changelog).

I am trying to build guitarix from source, but doing so on OSX is difficult because it has such bad package management. I'm trying to get all the dependencies taken care of, but it would be really nice to just have a .pkg of the most recent version!

By the way, here is where I got the package with the really old version: http://sourceforge.net/projects/guitarix/files/OSX/

Thanks in advance, I love guitarix already!

Bad news, I don't think this will compile on OSX (anymore?). There are a bunch of references that are not provided by the Mac C implementation:

CLOCK_REALTIME
sem_timedwait()
CLOCK_MONOTONIC

There are a few other errors but I think those can all be dealt with.
