I'm working on something like that, but it will take some more time to get it nicely. Right now I'm working on the save/load loop function.
It will have 4 simple looper (rec/play/reverse) with a amount of 1,5 min each. Do you mean that will suited, or do you need longer loop time frames, or additional features?

Okay, I've pushed it to git.
It's called "dubber", you will find it under Echo/Delay.
It features 4 tapes a 1.5 min record time. The loops could be clipped and trimmed if needed. They will be auto saved / reloaded for next start. You can set Gain for each loop independent, and then mix them all to the ongoing sound.

Hi brummer10,

As i ask in http://guitarix.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4617, is it possible or easy to add save and open loop wav files to this plugin ?
I hope you can ! ;)

Well, it is possible, just save your loops as plugin preset ( the little p button on the right side), you can then reload them later on.

and save it to import in DAW or other stuufs which we want...

They are saved in ~/.config/guitarix/pluginpresets/loops

For import it requires a file browser, will think about it.
But note that the loop size has a max range of 1.5 min, so maybe loaded files will be cut if they are to long!

I think it's not a problem if it is cut, loops are practically never more than 1.5 min.
Import could provide to not use a third-party software.
Export could be easy to code, i hope, even i'm not a coder.

Okay then, it's done.
The dubber plugin now can load wav/ogg files.
Files longer then 1.5 min will be cut at the end.
As I said before, all files are saved in ~/.config/guitarix/pluginpresets/loops
so I guess we didn't need a export button. Just save your plugin presets and grep the files from there if you wish to load them into a other app (DAW).
